safeway/Tamimi no longer exist in jeddah (they shut down years ago when i was still in elementary school). if you tried the big stores such as giant, panda, carrefuer and haven't found what you're looking for then i would suggest you try a place called "Danube"...I haven't shopped in jeddah for over 3 years now but when i did they used to have the best selection of american, canadian and mexican products. you'll have to check it out to see if they still do, sorry.
the danube in Hera'a street was always chaotic with tiny aisles that annoys even ghandi...but their branches on medinah road and the one next to Sands Hotel in Andalus Dist. were good. i heard they opened a new branch (the best i've been told) within the Red Sea Mall on the Kings Road north jeddah...
@ BK ofcourse they would be priced higher than in America but they are not double the price! i lived in the states for a while and trust me, grocery shopping in saudi is far less expensive. (these items are not on high demand here and quantities available are limited to serve the few seeking them, honestly now how many people living in saudi arabia use pure maple syrup on regular basis
